" a fatherless to the Father "
Hello from beautiful Jeju Island in South korea, where I am currently located at the YES Daddy Main Office in the ‘Hub of Asia’.
It has been over 18 years now since I first received the vision to come out from America to the country where my parents were born, South Korea, and to work to fulfill the vision of assisting orphans to come to know their true Father in heaven.
My father was a pastor, and I followed in his footsteps, going to seminary in the USA and I too became a pastor.
After leaving the USA all those years ago, I am always amazed how time passes by so quickly. A lot of great work has happened over the years. My wife and I and my three boys have cried a lot and laughed a lot and we have suffered many trials and tribulations along the way.
But I can stand here today and joyfully thank God for what He Willed to be achieved through YES Daddy. We continue to enroll orphan Interns into the ‘YES Daddy Internship program’ and we celebrate together their successful completion of the course and their graduation. All our graduates are now YES Daddy teachers and mentors, who are working hard to assist new YES Daddy interns , helping them succeed to graduation and become ‘Servant-Leaders’.
Once branded as ‘rejected orphans’, our Intern Graduates have become the ‘Giver” instead of the ‘Reciever” that they once were. They have turned their hurt into Christian love and they are now dedicating their lives to serve orphans from around the world.
The YES Daddy Mission footprint now crosses 4 continents into over 15 countries where we are continuing to work with Christian Missionaries and with the Directors of Orphanages to assist the orphans who reside there.
In the spirit of YES Daddy’s international character, I am very pleased to announce the opening of the ‘YES Daddy Orphan International School Jeju Campus’.
Orphans from around the world are enrolling into the school, and will soon be arriving in Jeju Island to commence a life changing christian-based International academic education program.
So why are we called ‘YES Daddy’?
Y: You are my Daddy E: Everyone is an orphan S: Send me now
